Conoce los motivos de su decisi\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/ah2019.lossilvestresnosonmascotas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/BARBARA-HENDRICK.jpg\" alt=\"La imagen tiene un atributo ALT vac\u00edo; su nombre de archivo es BARBARA-HENDRICK.jpg\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"lazyload\"><br \/>\nBarbara Hendricks Fotograf\u00eda: picture-aliance\/dpa<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Nuestra alimentaci\u00f3n tiene un alto impacto en el medio ambiente mundial, como ejemplo baste mencionar que, de acuerdo a la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentaci\u00f3n y la Agricultura (FAO),<strong>&nbsp;la ganader\u00eda es la industria que m\u00e1s contribuye a la emisi\u00f3n de metano,&nbsp;<\/strong>el cual es uno de los principales gases que ocasionan el efecto invernadero, por ello -si queremos ayudar a la ecolog\u00eda- una primer medida a implementar debe ser <strong>suspender el consumo de alimentos de origen animal<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Conocedora de lo anterior, y como muestra de su compromiso ambiental, Barbara Hendricks, secretaria de Medio Ambiente en Alemania, ha pedido que no se sirva <strong>ning\u00fan tipo de carne en eventos oficiales<\/strong> por lo que todos los platillos que se servir\u00e1n&nbsp;ser\u00e1n <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>vegetarianos<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">De la misma manera, Hendricks ha solicitado que de preferencia se utilicen productos vegetales org\u00e1nicos, de temporada y que provengan de granjas cercanas a donde se van a servir, todo esto para aminorar la huella de carbono de estos alimentos.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Esta decisi\u00f3n se ha tomado para <strong>combatir el cambio clim\u00e1tico<\/strong> debido a los conocidos efectos negativos de la pesca y la ganader\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">En un estudio llevado a cabo en el 2012, se clasificaron diversos grupos de alimentos de acuerdo a la emisi\u00f3n de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) que se generaban durante su producci\u00f3n. La mayor\u00eda de los alimentos de origen vegetal fueron clasificados como bajos emisores mientras que la mayor\u00eda de los alimentos de origen no vegetal, incluyendo l\u00e1cteos, huevo y todo tipo de carne fueron clasificados como altos emisores, esto debido al metano producido por la digesti\u00f3n de los rumiantes y a la deforestaci\u00f3n para convertir bosques y selvas en \u00e1reas de pastoreo y para cultivo de alimento de los animales.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter lazyload\"
