Means of Action
Legislation
In Animal Heroes, after doing research about different animal related subjects and after exhaustive teamwork, we develop initiatives to create or modify laws in favor of animals. Once created, our policy area makes sure to present them to legislators from all sorts of political parties, so that they can present them in their corresponding chambers, be voted on, and in the best cases, be approved.
All of this is possible thanks to our policy strategy and the diverse areas of expertise and knowledge of our ANIMAL HEROES collaborators, such as: biology, veterinary, law, politics, communication, management among others.
Awareness
Awareness is a matter of utmost importance. That’s why our team makes sure to do research on important subjects of interest, to later diffuse across different digital media, informative stands on events, conferences at schools and universities, as well as protests. All of this with the aim to raise social awareness on animal rights.
Other actions
Neutering campaigns
We host pet neutering campaigns for cats and dogs at a low cost. We do this with the help of vets and their medical equipment and others like volunteers from our own organization and outside help, as well as the support of different sponsors.
Acts of manifestation
We carry out events on specific topics, to attract the attention of the media and society in general, with the aim of informing, raising awareness and exerting social pressure, in order to achieve laws and other benefits in favor of animals.
Our platforms to legislate
At elections we invite all sorts of candidates from all parties to take part in and commit to becoming part of our legislative body, and work for animal rights alongside us in case they win the election. See more...
